A reminder to myself:

Listen, LISTEN... If he's there when I completely fall apart, and he's willing to still smile like I've always done when stuff like this happens, and he tells me the words I've always told myself "We'll be alright". And he knows it hurts him to see me like this, and it hurts me to feel this way, but we're both willing to make this work. Then gods dammit, I pray he's out there and alright.

If somehow there is a future where not everything is perfect, but all is well, and we are well and happy, and he does the thing of pressing his forehead to mine, and we smile, despite the cold, or despite anything, then GODS DAMMIT, I hope he's out there and alright.

If, somehow, SOMEHOW, we've known each other in another time, another life, if somehow we've known perhaps, we don't end up alone in the end, or that destiny, the universe, the gods, whatever, had set us out that we'll meet someday, but we have to grow and learn and be ready for each other until then...

Then I really hope he's out there, and happy, and alright.
