The Village Lane
The Village lane in verdant green this summer place is so serene the blooming oaks their shade so sweet beneath cloudless skies and fields of wheat
The Quiet houses, the garden gate the open green and the village feat children's laughter upon the air a sound to relish, a sound so fair.
Villagers gather, a speech is made they toast the queen with lemonade the church bells ring their evening song reminds us all where we belong.
