in order to avoid burnout while working on the dca slasher au comic, i’ve been playing Project Zomboid and decided to draw my build 42 modded characters

The guy is Curtis “Curt” McDaniel and the woman is April “Angel” McBride. They were neighbours turned friends turned lovers before the outbreak and decided to stick by each others’ side when all hell broke loose.

They’re madly in love and will do just about anything to make sure the other is safe and happy. Curtis goes out on scavenging missions to bring back insulin (for April) and other supplies while April holds down the base and keeps an eye on their cat (name pending but they were a shop cat from Curtis’ job) (no cats yet in the game so for now it’s a raccoon).

After fucking MONTHS of art block... I present: Doodles I conjured after an aggressive bout of artist impostor syndrome

I had lots of fun with these (they lied convincingly)

I was low key struggling the whole time especially with Fool.. I was too locked in to have fun but I'm proud of how these turned out (especially N0va)

I had a lot of fun creating like the "signatures" for Fool and Misuta

One of the old English F's little flourishes, I added a bell bc whimsy. The olde English letters took absolutely way too fucking long but it was worth it one million percent

I also made the little "A" flourish on N0va's name into N0va's tail bc I wanted to incorporate his tail somehow.

I honestly thought I had forgotten how to draw faces and people but drawing N0va sure proved that wrong

Alrighty, time for me to evaporate for the next few months until I get art motivation again lol

Btw some of my classmates were talking(kind of loud) with my math teacher next to me abt therians and she said she wanted to find one in the class, just to grab them out of the class and put them to eat dog food outside, and said that that's ridiculous and an absurd :/

I was holding myself to not to cry there- (I was already feeling a bit sensitive when it happened)
