Im making a goal to read atleast one physical book this year
and fanfiction doesnt count (in my case, fanfiction is reading and I read ALOT of fanfiction but I need to read more physical books not about my favorite media lol.
I havent been able to read a full book since middle school. I used to have so much time, i read to pass time, to ignore things, to be in another world.
I feel like I dont have that time these days, I always need more time. I never have ENOUGH time to read. I feel like I could be spending reading time doing anything else, somthing more productive? I guess.
I feel a little pathetic saying I havent read a full book? Like what happened? I used to be able to finish a book in a week, hell i vaugly remember finishing a book in a day once.
I hope i can capture that feeling once more
I still havent read a book BUT I have been watching more movies? I dunno if thats comparable but I think its a step in the right direction bc im always looking for inspiration 😋 I really liked Carrie and I rewatched Repo: the Genetic opera in theaters last friday. Also been playing Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines, a lot of Gothic inspo lately lol? Rewatching Steven universe has been the exception
