I'm sure it's been said to death already but one thing about the dub i really can't get over is the honorifics that are so lost in translation.

Dub only watchers will have no idea that Sabo, mister no manners who uses Usopp's face as a stepping stone, refuses to learn Barto's name, and plays with the marines like they're chew toys, only ever uses honorifics for Dragon, Iva and Kuma. Not anyone else. Cuz he doesn't respect anyone else. Not the way he respects those three. Those three mean so much to him and dub only watchers will never understand the absolute GRAVITY of the love and respect behind the honorifics he uses for them. And that's a real shame.

I guess one could argue that those three are the only ones higher than him regarding chain of command, but come on we know he doesn't care about that. Even if they were higher than him, if Sabo didn't respect them, he wouldn't use the honorific for them.

This goes for Law and Cora too on that note. Cora is the only person Law has EVER used and honorific for.

(Vergo does NOT count, that was done spitefully).

I'm just saying Sabo loves those three so much and I will be using that fact to push my "the revs adopted sabo" agenda thank you VERY much.
