. Mother Courage and her untold Stories! . No war has done any good to anyone. . Such was the story of Mother Courage (The lady in the photo), who had seen the disastrous war of Kargil in 1999. She lives in the Village of Shilikchey, a rocky mountainous place on the National Highway. Hardly 2-3 KM from Kargil City. I met her some 5 years back while on a photo project on the consequences of Kargil War. She survived the war by taking shelter in the near cave for almost 10 days. Her only appeal was not being helped by the administration as promised. Even after 15 years of the war, her miseries were still the same. Hope the Local administration listens to her demand and help her accordingly. .
