  ♆                Okay. They say “expect the unexpected” but in what world was he supposed to expect his mom to come home and just……… dump confetti on him. On the couch. Covering the floor. She had a whole box the rainbow paper was everywhere. It was almost as if he missed a birthday or something.

Grabbing a bunch, movement sending the paper piled on his lap falling everywhere, climbing over the couch to return the favor. Only half tripping ( he was always graceful, okay? ) Percy dumped a bunch over her head as well with a laugh.

Bernie had her arms wrapped around Jules, a bright smile on her face. “Where should we go?”

Jules just picked her right up. Holding her bridal style he carried her out the front door.

"I honestly have no idea. But as long as you're there it's perfect."

Alexis was on one of the rooftops of the city trying to plan out the rebellions next attack on the Dark Presence. It was then she noticed someone walking the streets. That was an instant red flag, no one from around here was stupid enough to be out in the open like that. Another zone hopper, great. Quickly jumping down from the fire escape Alexis landed in the alleyway next to the person.

"Go back to your own zone this is not a safe place for anyone to be."

"I cannot SEE." 

Bernie sobbed, tears pricking at her eyes, her ears pinned against her head. She turned in Chuck’s direction, but of course, her eyes weren’t focused on him. “A-a Grayface used their magic, a-and now I can’t see for 48 hours!”

"A grey..."

With a sigh Charles slowly made his way over to her. Gently he put a hand on her head and did his best to keep her still. Taking a pen light out of one of his pockets he shined it in both of her eyes.

"Your pupils aren't dilating which means they have no idea this light is in front of your face."

It wasn't the fact that Bernie was standing before him that surprised him. It was the fact that she looked young. Younger than Antoine himself, even. Was this an alternate? Or had Bernie somehow come across the fountain of youth. He almost didn't even recognize her.

"Pardonnez-moi," Antoine said with a nervous gesture. "I was just alarmed, is all."
