My thought was, the daycare looks terrible to sleep in, so maybe there’s a separate area that isn’t a giant playground and is just??? A bunch of pillows and plushies and blankets??? And mothette’s in charge there???

Mothette mechanic if she was in the games would be sorta like sun and moon?

Since she area is in the daycare, the lights also go off in her area, she's not hostile tho. If you use the flashlight, you can direct her to either flip switches that are to high up, or hold things that are too heavy :)
