Surprise mothra art attack
Finally done with my Mothra design! I put a lot of time into her and I’m really satisfied with how she came out.
Mothra’s larva form
It normally doesn’t want to cause conflict, so it uses it’s rattling tail to ward off foes. But to keep it from being defenceless, it’s bite is highly venomous and potentially fatal, as well as being able to rely on it’s silk. These guys can be Mothra’s children or Mothra herself while she’s in the process of regrowing.
Old design from October of 2022. This one was way too sharp and jumbled with details, and I never really achieved what I wanted with the design. I leaned way more into round shapes and studying bug anatomy more carefully for the redesign.

I also had to re-do my pattern for Mothra’s wings. I didn’t like the old one anymore. This one is a bit more... detailed and cleaner ^^ I also changed her fur color, switching from orange with white stripes to white with orange stripes.
I had fun doing this. Also don’t ask how they can wear clothes. It’s artis magic, it doesn’t always need to make sense

I'm bored. But also feeling lazy, so.... Yeah. Have a human Mothra. Didn't really want to draw the Kaijus as humans, but I made an exception this time
Maybe I'll doodle some random stuff later. I actually have many ideas but don't know where to start. And I'm kinda feeling like I'm throwing way too much Ghidorah themed things at you. I hope I'm not annoying you too much with him....
I know I should do more with other Kaijus. I should focus more on Mothra, she's so beautiful. And on Godzilla, he's the main character after all. But I also want to draw Ghiji with Ghidorah being a good daddy and being wholesome and I do want to draw action and fighting scenes and romantic scenes and funny scenes and sad scenes and scary scenes-....
But have this instead
