This pride month,and all year,to be frank,instead of posting little stuff like "trans 👏🏻 women 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 women 👏🏻 " thinking you said something revolutionary (that is,quite honestly,the bare minimum) post/say/scream "Trans liberation now" .

Usually when we open conversations around transness and gender with people that "don't believe in that trans thing" on a philosophical level we are usually met with the questions "so then what is a woman/man/whatever anyway if it's not x-y-z " in an attempt to fall into little intellectual traps. But when we say we want trans liberation now it prompts the question "what do you mean by liberation? Aren't you already free to be trans?" and then we can actually open a sociopolitical conversation around the unfortunate truths of trans oppression that stand strong to this day,the inequality in finding a job,having decent and affordable or even accessible healthcare and gender affirming health care,the mental health issues that come from being trans in a society that makes it quite clear that it doesn't want you to exist,the suicide rates,the murder rates on trans people and especially trans sex workers and so on. Now we are talking on a reality level instead of a philosophical level of gender theory and that's how we prompt change.

And remember,true allyship and support are much more than a cool slogan posted on social media or printed on a shirt by a corporation using rainbow capitalism to make money off of our struggles.
