spend 40 hours on a fic or art piece? absolute radio silence. two likes, one reblog, and a single ghost whispering “nice effort” in the void.

then someone posts “fuck me (insert character name)” and it ascends to godhood. the notes multiply like rabbits on caffeine. staff is probably watching it like, “mmmyes… this is culture.”

meanwhile i spend 30 minutes and 5 shots of vodka creating a meme powered entirely by spite and poor life choices, and suddenly it’s on everyone’s dash like a curse with a great marketing team.

moral of the story: there is no formula. you just lob your little creations into the abyss and pray they smack the right degen in the face. next thing you know, you’ve trauma-bonded and gained a lifelong friend who also hasn’t slept since 2014.
