It's that time of year again! When I read End Game by @mottlemoth. As per tradition I forget until after Blue Monday has come and gone before i remember that I want to read it, and never set an alarm for the next year.

Anyway, here's to Depressed In January Mycroft obsessing over Sad Divorced Lestrade and then propositioning him with a week on a tropical island, and Lestrade saying Thank Fuck Yes Absolutely, and they go to the island and fuck and catch feelings, and then Human Resources descends on their good time to ruin everything, and they are helped by A Random Celebrity and of course Sherlock, who is like WTF this is why I own my own business so I don't have to deal with Human Resources, and of course Anthea who girlbosses too close to the sun but it actually works.

Anyway, I always celebrate reading it with my own version of a pink drink which is sparkling wine with a liberal splash of Passoa.

Was thinking of OFMD S2 this morning, and got all excited for the John Bryce reveal. Who is playing him? I hope it's Kristofer Hivju.

Then I realized I'd once again conflated the brilliant @mottlemoth story Hell or High Water with the show's story annnnnd now I'm sad. No John Bryce for us.
