The #MoultonRanch was a settlement of #MormonPioneers who in the late 1880’s began moving in & settling #JacksonHole. Coming from the #TetonValley region of the upper #SnakeRiverValley of #Idaho, these families were prepared for the harsh conditions this land could present to them as they successfully farmed on this property until the 1950’s. After that, the @nationalparkservice acquired the spread & through the help of donors has preserved this historical heritage.
