In The Footsteps Of Nanga Parbet.
It has almost became a ritual for me to leave something behind for my Hosts. Ahsan our host an old hardworking man who sustain on tourism this mountain generates during summertime, provided me a plank that he had sourced for his cottage construtions from the juniper forest nearby. He said if I could draw the mountain for him he would put it on the wall of his new cottage which had a warm stove in it and chuckled while saying “long after you are dead it would still be here” we laughed while picking the last almond from the trail mix.
