Mountain Bongo Tragelaphus eurycerus isaaci ©Laura Quick The mountain bongo is a critically endangered subspecies of the bongo, one of the largest, and most beautiful forest antelopes, with a reddish-brown coat, with black, white and yellow-white markings. These are among my favorite animals, when mature, both males and females have long, slightly spiraled horns. Bongos are rarely seen in large herds. #mountainbongo #tragelaphuseurycerus #tragelaphuseurycerusisaaci #©lauraquick #bovidae #artiodactyla #beautiful #africa #Kenya #highlands #ruminant #ungulate #unguligrade #losangeleszooandbotanicalgardens #losangeleszoo #lazoo #glaza #naturephotography #losangelesphotographer https://www.instagram.com/p/B9NHmO7nNtJ/?igshid=194qf08n3zi3b
