A story I wrote based on my scientific article ‘The theory of cross-scale interactions: an illustration from remote villages in Sikkim, India’ is out in Current Conservation Magazine of India. This very apt illustration by Ladyfingers Co, of the ‘food plate activity’ that I conducted with Sikkim’s mountain residents of the lowland and highland regions to understand changes in their diets over the last 25-30 years is included in the story.
Read ‘Diminishing colours on the food palette? Refections on lost diversity of foods in West Sikkim, India’ on Pg. 15.
