I was working at drawing my new pathfinder character, I’m experimenting with a mounted archery style build.

I’ve noticed that working with a larger canvas has become kinda weird to me, so of course now I’ve got to keep working on one larger than I’m used to till it works out.

And the last ones, the bard and the mounted archer !

The bard (Haifa) is a well-travelled woman. A bit cynical and pessimistic, but also a softie.

Also it’s a bit unrelated but I’d like it if bard/dancers could do more than give other unit another turn ? It often doesn’t feel useful enough to warrant them taking a deployment spot. i like what they did in fe7 though, where Ninian could buff your stats too. (I bring this up mostly because I have this image of Haifa blowing her horn and yelling ‘GET FUCKED !’ at the enemies to debuff their stats)

The mounted archer (Jyrgal) is a cheerful and creative young man, who has a knack for acting and telling stories. He’s deaf and uses mostly sign language. (Female mounted archers in fe are often very well dressed (see Astrid, Selfina and Sue for example), so he gets nice, practical clothes).

Alright, now it’s mostly going to be fleshing out characters, refining designs and stuff ! It’ll mostly be on @fe-plm , though if I make some pretty art I’ll post it there too.

big cats are so hard to draw with all the fluffy fur everywhere, meh. Also saber cats are pretty misfigured so hard to figure them out even while looking at tiger and cat refs, ugh (not that i really tried).

no shadows, minimum details, just wanted to draw night elf mounted archer without putting in too much effort nobody needs anyway.

I mentioned back then i would make an actual mounted archer drawing with the design i posted. Here it is but i also changed the design. Did not save the picture though, still looks like a mess. I guess i’ll never be able to draw horses and riders. Such is the fate, RIP me.
