This is an illustration for a fragment of the "Lost Sparks" fanfiction.

Huge thanks to @tendebill for the effort and work put into creating this piece – I'm still amazed at how phenomenal the final result is!!

From the character designs, through all the small details, to the overall atmosphere, which perfectly captures what I described in the text – the illustration is wonderful!

A bit of context for those curious: After landing on Cybertron, Nightbird is faced with the question of what to do next and where to go. While devising her next steps, she sifts through all available data and comes across a photo with a note from her Mother: "If you find him, try to convince him to fly to Ceall. His name is Rung." The photo shows her Father with Rung, in times of peace, with Iacon in the background.

The Song of Nagrand

Time flies by and the little army of felines born to sentinel Xenia's frostsaber Stormpaw has grown up to become an army of fang and claw wielding fluffy bandits. They have been slowly adopted out to other sentinels and Brigade members who bonded with the little rascals and took over caring for them. Number 12, the only nightsaber in the entire gigantic litter has bonded with none other than Deuce, who has been guarding the hospital near the spot where Xenia and Stormpaw raised the kittens.

Now named Sooty, this long tailed nightsaber follows Deuce on their adventures through Outland, learning the tricks of the trade and songs of distant places. What does the future hold for our pair of intrepid heroes? Only time will tell! 

I have finished this piece as a Christmas present for astralfox0893 and had a lot of fun trying out a new style and painting this adorable little critter. I hope you like the final outcome.

Making a separate post of this one because... I have to redraw this at some point, It’s old and I still love the vibe and the relaxing atmosphere of this one. I need the mental peace of this scene. Again, featuring my balance druid Nathras. He started the path of the feral druid before finding his “own way”. So, being a wild druid in training aside, he took the responsability of raising six nightsaber/frostsaber cubs while training in the path of the feral druid. Quick nap between herbalism study and step-dad shenanigans.
