I wonder what’s going on?

I ate some nice food and coffee today…so I’ll just log off and use the putty that I bought for animation.
Mind the mess

Grrr...Darned Mounting Putting
I have seen a number of model painters using mounting putty to secure a figure to a base for painting. I usually use clips, but my Carvinean is so big, I don't have a clip that will work. I've searched around for one, and everything I've found it just too big or closes with too much force. So I decided to try the mounting putty.
The result? Every now and again the figure flings itself off the base and down the floor. The Carnivean leans forward enough the putty is receiving constant pressure, so eventually it lets go. I need to ring a better solution for my larger figures.
