#canitellyou if you’re going to have pub food, you might as well have it at @audleypublichouse. The pub classics were delicious with produce from their farm in Somerset and other local farmers. The bar is a hive of activity with everyone ordering pints for lunch. #AngelicaKauffmanR.A. was launched into Mayfair society by Lady Wentworth in 1766 & quickly became the fascination of Mayfair & St. James's whilst #JoshuaReynolds was utterly infatuated by her charms #beauty & #talent & Queen Charlotte instantly scooped her up from Elizabeth Montagu's Hill St Mayfair Salon, ensuring she became the toast of London. As a founding member of the Royal Academy on Piccadilly she introduced classical painting to England. There was a time when every second house on Bond St had a wall or ceiling painted by her & to this day her works are oft discovered behind panels in St James's & Mayfair I'm awaiting my own discovery in my flat on #MountStreetMayfair (at Mount Street Mayfair)
