Mouse Jiggler is a very simple piece of software whose sole function is to "fake" mouse input to Windows, and jiggle the mouse pointer back and forth.
I have been using this little utility for the last ten years at least. I can’t really remember. Mostly I used it to prevent the domain policy controlled screensaver on my laptop from interrupting the movies I was watching when I was traveling, but it is also useful for keeping remote sessions from timing out, and also keeping your slack/teams/etc status from showing Away. You can watch your cursor jiggle every so often, or you can enable Zen Mode, and your computer will just think it is happening (also known as there is no spoon mode).
