I would have no problem paying $20 for this sandwich| Color: bubblicious pink floating in a river of James | rating 4.99 BEEFS | Tasting Notes: Warren’s scalpel and Lisa’s cleaver carved up the most magnificent marvel of a sandwich this beef freak has ever come across. They put 6 days of love and affection into planning out these masterpieces as it’s only available on fridays and usually sells out. I rolled in around 2pm and fully expected they’d be sold out but the beef gods were with us today and we managed to live to tell the tale. I took this thing out onto merrimack street, popped the trunk, haunched over the tailgate and just inhaled this thing in what had to be about 45 seconds. It was warm and crunchy and saucy and perfect in every way. Was happy to have my weather tech liner in the bed of the trunk so I can hose it down later as the Jimmy was a flowing. I don’t even know if it was jimmy- could have been their own hybrid version as it was just the perfect accompaniment to the perfect onion roll and perfectly cooked beef. I walked back in, told them it was the best Sandwich I’ve had and then walked away wishing I had ordered two instead of one. Well done modern butcher. Everyone told me it was an epic sandwich and i can’t wait to come back for more! You guys will make it hard to enjoy any standard Saturday-Thursday beef ever again. But I’m not mad about that.
