It's not that we have a short time to live, we just waste a lot of it. We need to live with intention.
I Need my coworker to start acting like he has a spine
A close up of one of my hand tattoos but you can’t see the whole quote lol
“Move with purpose”
Sometimes I have to do the thing first - the "why" is discovered afterwards
Move With Purpose
Move With Purpose | June 11th, 1998
It was early. The sky was just beginning to turn a light gray from the bleak darkness of night and Harry was already awake. He’d had the last watch – something he preferred, as most people had been able to fall asleep by that time after tossing and turning for hours, and that meant less watching eyes. He got them everywhere he went in the Farmhouse. Their leader – the one they’d gone back to save. Surely he had some sort of plan up his sleeve.
The problem was – Harry hadn’t ever had a plan. Not with the Horcruxes and certainly not now. Dumbledore had only left him with an idea of what was supposed to happen and nothing about how it was supposed to happen. Harry hadn’t planned on dying – had never expected to come back if he did. How could the members of the D.A. look to him as if he knew what to do next?
Still, Harry kept on moving. Giving them ideas of where they might go from here. They needed to kill the snake. Then Voldemort. Stay alive. It was like a mantra in his head, just the way the Horcruxes had been. Just the way the Hallows had replaced those.
Snake, Voldemort, Survive. Snake, Voldemort, Survive.
Focusing on the light mist that moved in waves above the grounds to the farm the way it did every morning, Harry eyes glazed over slightly with exhaustion and the never-ending mantra that was the only beginning to a plan. Snake, Voldemort, Survive.
He jumped slightly as someone entered the room and knocked over his now-cold tea onto the papers that constantly littered the kitchen table. “Shit!” His curse came out in a mumble and he picked up the cup quickly, righting it, and reached for his wand before he remembered they were supposed to be using magic only when necessary. “I’ll look through the papers and siphon off what’s needed and use a towel for the rest,” he told the person who had just entered.
