Warm up! #laloghost #crossfitmasters #gettingbetterandbetter #Repost @crossfittraining (@get_repost) ・・・ 🤳 @crossfit_weightlifting and @rayregno ... How much time do you spend with an empty barbell before throwing plates on? . If the workout says 135 lbs or heavier, it’s not uncommon to see people bring out the bar and immediately throw blues on it. 😐Or maybe the weight is 95; straight to greens... or whatever it might be. Empty bar gets no love. 🙄 . Watch elite weightlifters prep to train. They use the empty barbell to prime their movements and get everything flowing. . I’ve found that 10-15 min of barbell work is super helpful in making sure things are moving correctly. It also helps me identify areas that might require a little more ramp up before being expected to move any considerable load. . Challenge yourself. You’ll be better for it in the long run. I promise. . Here is a variation of the Burgener Warm Up that I like to do every time I do something that involves a front squat. Give her a go, post a video and tag me. Enjoy! . @crossfit #virtuosity #movementintelligence #movementmoron #warmup
