Kirby Collection is Upper Kirby’s latest multi-purpose high-rise that offers residential homes, commercial offices, and retail leasing spaces. After touring many apartments built by merchant builders, Kirby Collection is proof that Houston has developers that are in it for the long run.

Kirby Collection’s Residential Tower
I toured Kirby Collection with Monet, the property’s leasing professional. Kirby Collection’s residential tower will consist of 199 apartment homes spread across 27 floors. With a maximum of 10 luxury apartment homes per floor (The smallest home is 1015sqft!). The top floor will be the penthouse floor, most of which have been pre-leased. The 7th floor (The properties first residential floor) will have Garden Loft apartment homes, features of these homes include 20 foot ceilings and private terraces with outdoor kitchens. The terraces will be separated with easy to maintain green shrubbery and Brazilian ipe wood panels.
Interior Finishes
The finishes are Kirby Collection are the best I’ve seen all year. The design and quality are superb! They are the first property I’ve seen to use a very strong treated wood for their cabinets and drawers. You’ll find stainless steel whirlpool appliances in the kitchen. Some unique touches that Kirby Collection offers are built in wine coolers and stylish modern bathtub (you can see the Houston skyline from the bathtub in this unit!)
His and her sinks with the sleek, soft-close drawers.
The cabinet colors are very modern and match the quality and style of the building.
Gas stove tops.
Durable cabinets.
Their 1 bedroom model. The interiors are some of the finest in Houston.
Pricing
Their pricing starts as follows: 1 bedroom 1 bath, A1 floor-plan, 1015sqft, on a 12 month lease is going for $2810. This price does not include the two months free that they are offering pre-leases. Construction Quality
Kirby Collection is a solid concrete and steel construction project. With thick Sheetrock and concrete in between walls. I was very impressed with this building!
Final Thoughts
Although Kirby Collection is still a work in progress, I can tell this will be one of Houston’s greats. Their pricing ii reasonable, the style is on point, and the construction quality is all there. I can’t wait to revisit Kirby Collection for a full review!
