#Repost - @moveyoubetter by @get_regrammer I started this movement revolution back in 2017, when I learned of myofascial release treatment from M2T-Blade. It took me 2 years to be convinced since I started coaching professionally (2015 as muay thai assistant coach). I had my share of sports injuries: shin splints back in 2010 when I was starting out running then even had my severe bacterial infection (MRSA) because of CrossFit. Note that it is not the gym or the sport's fault but a miscalculation on my part. One: I was running with extreme forefoot stride and so I suffered shin splints when I was running 3k and trying to train for my 5k. The MRSA was the effect of lying down on rubber mats right after an intense WOD. I was hospitalized for almost 5 days trying to fight the bacteria...and yes, that is why I advocate vaccination because I have a weak immune system, but that's on our next story soon. 4 years since then, I am still advocating movement through fitness, yoga, nutrition and wellness.
