The Secret World of Arrietty

A Studio Ghibli film about a family of little people called borrowers that live in a home. it's actually a really adorable movie, though I prefer the original Japanese version to the English dub.

Messages in this movie:

When you feel alone in the world, remember there are people out there like you, even if you've never met them.

Little things can make a big difference.

Don't always fear the unknown, including people. You might be surprised.

Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings

A fairy movie! :D This is the newest of the Tinker Bell movies, and with this one they finally hit all of the seasons (this one is Winter). In this movie Tinker Bell is fascinated with the Winter Woods, but warm fairies are not allowed to go because their wings will freeze and break, and a broken wing has no cure and would make flying impossible ;-; Well, Tinker Bell makes a coat and goes anyway, and finds out she has a SISTER! Of course, there's shenanigans and danger, but of course there's a happy ending :)

Be adventurous. You never know what surprises may await you.

Rules are made for reasons.

Even the impossible can be made possible.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas

This is actually a really cute version of this... It's old and pretty short, only about 30 minutes, and it's from the point of view of a mouse family. it usually airs on ABC Family in the month of December.

Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses

A movie about a king that is a single father with 12 very different and rambunctious daughters. He brings in a cousin of his to help him raise them, but she’s a bitch and tries to kill him with poison, all the while stripping the 12 princesses of their freedoms. Anyway, they find a magic world under their room, and go there and dance a lot… 

Story short, the evil lady is discovered, and cursed to dance forever and the King gets well, the Princesses lives return to normal, and there’s a romance in there somewhere.

Sometimes those that we think are there to help, only want to take over. 

Don’t let anyone rob you of your individuality.

Always do the right thing, even when it's easier to do what you want.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

Most people know what this is about, but I'll just do a quick thing.... Pretty much this kid Percy is a demigod and is framed for stealing Zeus' lightning bolt and all hell breaks lose.

Mixed reviews about it, but having not read the book, I didn't think it was too bad of a movie.

Messages in this movie:

Even when people are not there, they can still care for you.

You have more strength than you know.

Just because someone is willing to help you, does not mean they are trustworthy.

True friends will stick by you no matter how difficult the obstacles become.

Lol, no way! I have a lot of fun doing it! Plus Space Jam wasn't a really good one x.x;

Leon the Professional

I haven't watched this in a LONG time, but the basic jist of it is, Leon is a hitman, and a little girl that lives in the same hall (apartment building) as him ends up with her family slaughtered. So he kinda takes her under his wing and she wants revenge and it's actually a pretty good movie. At least I liked it.

Help can be found even in the most unlikely of places.

Doing the right thing isn't always easy.

If there's a will, there's a way, but be patient and gain skill first.

Most people at least know what this movie is about. Michael Jordan is pulled into the land of the Looney Tunes to help them win a basketball game against aliens so they aren't enslaved and taken to another planet.
