The 2016 MST3K Turkey Day Marathon was a tremendous success as usual!! Joel and Jonah gave us the top 6 favorite episodes of classic Mystery Science Theater 3000 that were voted for by KickStarter backer MSTies (Joel said he would release the full 100 most voted for episodes list soon). J & J mixed up the top 3 Joel favs and the top 3 Mike favs by bouncing back and forth between Mike and Joel episodes starting with Mike in season 9's epic "The Pumaman". Followed by Joel's season 3 classic "Pod People". Then we got to see the classic "hero" episodes for both Mike & Joel starting with Mike in season 9's "The Final Sacrifice" where Zap Rowsdower takes on an evil cult he once was a member of with his teenage companion Troy McGregor. Then it was off to watch Joe Don Baker play the uncompromising cop Mitchell as he cleaned up crime in the streets and dirtied up his living/bed room. Finally we came to the pinnacle of MST favorites, the infamous "Space Mutiny" & capping off the marathon with "Manos: The Hands of Fate". It was a ton of fun and on the live YouTube stream alone there was up to almost 15,000 MSTies watching!
