The gas company is tearing up the sidewalk, the street, and now my basement. I got up early to go to chambers because yesterday they said I didn't need to be here, but this morning, after I got up at 6:30 to get jumping, they changed their mind. I'm trying to take advantage of this and work on the precedential spreadsheet that I've put off basically all summer. I’m also really trying to practice letting it go, because I was mad about the change of plans, but I am very lucky in my flexibility in my job generally, and especially now during pandemic, and there really is no consequence if I have to go in this afternoon, or even tomorrow. I was mad and holding onto it because I made a plan yesterday based on what they said, but this change of plans is really okay, and they’re keeping my house from blowing up, so this is good and important.
