Escape – Reign of Maldor is an adventure map mixed with puzzles, parkour and mob battles. After being captured by Master Maldor he has for the last months been using you as a lab rat. You have decided to escape your captivity but it’s harder than you possibly could have imagined. It’s an incredibly well made map with a good variety of challenges.

Story

You’ve stopped counting the days. It really feels like you’ve been a captive of Master Maldor for ages and every day he runs tests on you. He’s an evil creature with a sadistic mind. This is not what you imagined your life would look like and now you’ve come to the conclusion that you have to escape.

Rules

Read all signs for clues and instructions

Only allowed to break blocks which are mentioned on the signs

In every room there’s a hidden key, find it

It says play on peaceful, but we (MCPE DL) think it should actually be played on max difficulty

The creators of New Craft City takes much of their inspiration from New York City. It’s a really big city with lots of different suburbs and districts to explore. It’s the high attention to detail which primarily caught our interest in the creation. For example, some of the buildings have really cool street art and the fact that they have managed to cover such a large area but still keeping it interesting, modern and beautiful is an amazing feat.

How to get to the main city?

Find the bridge as seen in the image below. It’s just outside the house which you will spawn inside. Cross the bridge to get to the main parts of the city.

Redstone Mansion Map for Minecraft PE Maps

The Redstone Mansion is a map created by Mojang to showcase all the new redstone features available as in version 0.13 of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The map is set in an abandoned and spooky mansion in a dark and gloomy swamp biome. It’s an adventure map consisting of a couple of puzzle challenges where you have to use redstone to figure out the solutions. The objective is to reach the Nether Portal.

Rules

Avoid creepers (explosions break the map)

Don’t place or break blocks

Wear headphones

Watch Shoghi Cervantes and Daniel Wustenhoff (who are two of the Minecraft PE developers) play the map!

Soutade City Map for Minecraft PE Maps

The growth of Soutade City is going at a rapid speed. It currently has more than ten skyscrapers and more buildings are on the way of being built. There are a lot of flat areas surrounding the city and the idea is to have the city cover all of those parts in the future. By the looks of what have so far been created we can expect that a great city is in progress of being developed. Probably much better than Grand Shine City which never was completed but it was a nicely designed project and built by the same creator.

It will be interesting to follow the progress of this city! Once there’s an update, we will be sure to update this post.

Parkour++ Map for Minecraft PE Maps

Parkour++ is a modded map with 9 different levels. In every level there are clay and emerald blocks which when touched or stood on will give different effects. It’s a really fun map which offers unique set of challenges in every level.

How to play?

To be able to play the map you are required to install the mod first. It is a .js file which is included in the downloaded .zip file.

Once you’ve entered the Parkour++ map certain clay and emerald blocks will have a new set of features. Emerald blocks are used to teleport from one place to another. Blocks of clay will give you different effects once you touch them or stand on them. The effects can be everything from a speed boost to some more dangerous effects, such as the red stained clay which will kill you.

Make sure to memorize all the block abilities or have this page opened while doing the parkour to be able to view them at any time.

Block Abilities

Black Stained Clay: Blindness

Green Stained Clay: Instant heal

Brown Stained Clay: Instant damage

Yellow Stained Clay: Speed boost

Red Stained Clay: Instant death

Orange Stained Clay: Instant jump

White Stained Clay: Does nothing

Sprint PE Map

Sprint PE is a minigame where the objective is to drink a Potion of Swiftness to have your speed increased while running non-stop through all of the 12 different levels. The levels are designed to gradually increase the difficulty of the game both in terms of how the track is laid out and the strength of the potion.

Rules

Play in creative mode

Set difficulty to peaceful

Always press the forward button and sprint (you are never allowed to stop!)

Christmas Skyblock is a challenging survival map with 12 islands floating high up in the sky. The ultimate challenge is to survive for as long you can while only being allowed to use the blocks and items which are found on the islands. The majority of the islands are snow-covered as it’s a Christmas map but there’s a good mix of other environments too such as a desert temple and a jungle stronghold.
