Life Imitates Art✴ Thoth and Han Geng
@mpgeng
Thoth had been on the island when Han Geng arrived and instantly the man had piqued his interest. Apparently Han Geng had felt the same way about Thoth and that was the end of that. Thoth had a passion for body modification and body art but only had two tattoos on his body and both were mostly hidden. He did adore the one on his rib cage. He loved the artistry but he had yet to pick another tattoo, part of him wanted to put hieroglyphs on his form but then he worried about if the artist would be able to copy them accurately. Thoth was curious about the scaring on the other man - but even he wasn’t going to ask someone about something that was obviously a traumatic incident for them.
He assumed that one day Geng would tell him (and he would be able to add it to his records and it would complete everything nicely) and he could wait. He did, after all, have forever. He lent against his counter and looked over at Geng. “How was work today? I keep meaning to book a consultation.” He mused a little, looking over for a second out of his window, he did quite admire the view. “The moon is a bit lackluster today... Apparently it’s not been long enough for Khonshu to learn how to shine the moon properly.”
He couldn’t help but bitch. While Thoth prided himself on keeping his emotions out of everything, he couldn’t mask his feelings towards Khonshu and he wasn’t going to apologise to the moon God any time soon. He’d originally been the moon God but because his dads were always trying to see who was the better God, he became the God of Balance. He wasn’t overly keen on Horus or Set but they were his father’s so he was undoubtedly tied to them. He moved to sit next to Geng and smiled over at his cat who was curled up on the window sill.
“How do you like the drink? Did I make it right this time?”
