yesterday was so perfect omg )8 the opening acts were actually pretty good??? you can't deny malaysian talent tbh. but /MAYDAY PARADE/ was fucking amazing, i am so glad i went. no regrets when it comes to cutting school just to watch mayday parade do their thing effortlessly.

how they sang my fave song (i'd hate to be you when people find out what this song is about) for the encore was just. beautiful. i really didn't expect it but when derek announced the last song title, i almost broke down. i really let go when it came to singing along. i was the same with miserable at best, which is definitely one of my all time favorites. i'm lucky enough to have witnessed miserable at best with jason singing his original parts back in iowa 2010 so i'm beyond grateful to have heard it live a second time.

i got a meet and greet pass so i went after the show and it was so chill, i was like "jfc kpop would never be like this". i told them all i'd seen them before 4 years ago in iowa. jeremy thought i said alaska HAHAHAHA i had them sign my anywhere but here album that i had bought all those years ago. they were all so sweet omg :') freaking jake was like "oh wow that was so long ago, like 3 and a half years? no wonder i recognized that shirt, that was like back in the day" and I DIED BECAUSE SO WORTH WEARING MY 3 YEAR OLD HOLEY MAYDAY PARADE SHIRT. ugh and as i hugged him i was like "thank you so much for coming here" T_T managed to selca with derek and jake, kinda forgot with the others. there was barely anyone around brook and he was so shy ;u; really sayang them, ugh.

i am so glad i went, seriously. best birthday present ever, thanks mom and dad ;~;
