Cai huffed and rolled her eyes after having read the girl’s message on the phone screen brought to her attention. The girl was most likely talking about the cut on her face which the demigoddess never bothered to cover up. Caixia just cleaned it off with water and slapped on a bandaid. However, it was pretty bad, but she would survive.
“Bad place, bad time, that’s what happened.” She put vaguely, not wanting the other to worry about a mindless injury. It was more on the end of a business transaction gone wrong, but that was the last thing she was about to admit. Let alone to the girl who kept staring her down for a better answer.
