The god of chaos was often not a man of casual conversations, he was a man of business. He cared very little for individuals and even less for groups of people. None of them mattered to him, as he simply sought to bring destruction and anarchy into the world. It was what kept him sane, what brought a certain level of retained calm to his demeanor which was as fragile as a beam of light. Anything could come along and break the tranquility he tried to build around himself, and he would simply snap and lapse into a dark place.
It was on one such evening where he could feel the line between his sanity and the darkness of his mind warring with one another. He had remained mostly stable during his time at the Mountain, but too much calm tended to make him crazy. He yearned for something darker, something more horrific than the day to day business and the idle conversations he’d been trying to make do with. He stepped into the dark club with a sneer and a glare at the doorman, not caring much for the whole situation. Places so low were beneath him, yet he knew that in the seediest of places he could oft find something that would enable him to release some level of the irritation that had taken hold of him for so long.
He ordered a drink with a sharp tone and took it from the bartender with a clenched jaw. Everyone was a potential victim, everything was a delicate balance as he glanced around at the patrons with an air of disgust. He hated the humans, hated the way they milled about drunkenly and had no idea what kind of danger they could be in should he decide to act upon his wishes.
Caixia had been spending her free time in the dark club like she did everytime she had the time. It was a familiar place, and she was a regular, so most of the workers knew who she was and what she liked. Not only that, but she found the most amusing things to come out from this building and Caixia wasn't about to pass up a good tea time drama.
She had been flirting with a guy for the past several minutes, the other obviously drunk. So it was way too easy to pull him close and reach behind for his wallet. If the demigod didn't have any self control, she would have burst out laughing at how pitiful the man was.
Batting her eyes a few and sweet talking more, she convinced him to leave momentarily and get her something else to drink. And when he was gone, she acted fast.
Opening the strangers wallet, she quickly slipped out the cash and stored it in her coat pocket. She didn't bother locking at anything else, so it was easy to place it back on the empty seat and ditch.
Caixia made her way across to the other side of the club, catching familiar face out of the corner of her eye and her interest was peaked.
Making a small detour to follow the seemingly upset God, she remained quiet and watch the man snap his order at the bartender. Sheesh.
When the coast was clear and the drink was in his hand, Caixia walked over to the God and raised a brow. “Fuck, Boss, glare any harder and you'll burn the place down. What's the matter with you? Something stuck up your ass?”
While most would never even dare to speak to their employer in such manner, it was so second nature to the girl she didn't even bat an eye to it.
“Did your wife leave you or something? Lose all your stock investments? Didn't win bingo night? Couldn't complete the daily sudoku puzzle? Whatever people your age do that upsets them?”
