The graveyard wall at St Mary’s finally fell over last night. This has been an issue for a number of years and Merton Council have been written to on many occasions. Recently, an application for some Civic Pride Fund money was applied for as it was clear this wall needed urgent attention. The other listed wall in Church Field is another case. This wall is less than 50m from a local primary school and thankfully it collapsed during the night.
