noona’s great hospitality // taekwoon & inari
It was cold. Very cold, and Inari was very old and so temperature-changing mechanisms such as a heater were very new to him. He was scared that it was going to explode if he had it on too high, or for too long. Lately it had begun to hum quite loudly and rattle sometimes, so Inari didn’t particularly wish to use it all too much. Inari did not blame it much for rattling. It must suck to always be working all the time. So, with the heater not an option, and the apartment getting colder and colder by the minute, Inari thought of the next best thing. Sunlight. Preferably in his fox form, where his thick fur would keep him cozy. As he stood by his window, hugging himself, he wondered where there’d be good sunlight... but then he remembered, the memory so sudden he flinched. That restaurant with that tall, bobble-headed boy with the cheekbones who had so kindly served him. He sighed happily at the thought. The sunlight was so nice there, shone so brightly through the windows... as if it were a bright summers day. Inari left the apartment, and his size soon exploded up, his fox form the size of a house. Inari was already warmer, and he stretched, silently yawning as to not alarm his many neighbours. He shook himself, before leaping up off the ground and into the sky. In the air, he looked down at the houses, his mind tracing the roads, soaring overhead the way to Noona. His fur danced about as he travelled, and Inari closed his eyes briefly. He’d missed this; it wasn’t a long distance to travel, but he’d missed... travelling like this. Lately it had been walking in a human form, or taking a car. People were usually too alarmed to see a giant fox in the sky, and he didn’t particularly wish to be recorded on those... smart phones. He landed, quite gently, lowering himself on Noona’s roof. He made himself comfortable, wiggling a little like a bird might in their nest. His long, silvery nine tails draped off the building, resting just over the windows that he’d seen the sun shine through. Ah, even the glass was quite warm. Inari purred under his breath happily. He’d made a great decision. @mpxtaekwoon
