Unfortunate Fate

Getting accustomed to a more ordinary and humane routine, amongst the stress from her job as a professor and keeping her emotional state in one piece whenever Hecate would have a glimpse of her daughters, Min and Vincent, it was only natural that the Goddess would end up experimenting commonfolk activities to relax.
Yoga was the only one that stuck and she'd ofter visit 'Zero to Hero' once the sun would set, allowing her to walk around more freely and without risking bumping into unwanted social interactions. But this was the moment she had for herself, and Hecate closed the door to a private gym room. It wasn't an overly spacious area, just enough to accommodate a dozen people for group sessions and included a punching bag, kettlebells and yoga mats.
She settled and started with a Cobra Stretch position but in a wave, the memories of her past and recent re-union flooded her mind. Emotion and Logic screeched, it was a night of hell for her. Hecate plead for her own thoughts to stop, plead for silence but such wouldn't happen. The overwhelming feeling got her to seek for a way to channel it out, so she walked to the hanging punching bag, despite knowing her body wasn't built for what was about to come.
With every hit, a word from them echoed. 'Your image of love...'. 'I don’t want to hear it'. 'I don’t need your gifts'. Every sentence she had heard from the people she cared for punched back, her knuckles bruising and the delicate skin started to bleed against the rough leather. In minutes her arms become sore as well, but Hecate wouldn't stop, until she became too weak to even stand, defeated physically and emotionally.
That would be, until the sound of someone entering the room, making her jolt from her place but flinch with the movement has her body ached. To her surprise, fate had played a very wicked prank and one of the main characters from her sorrow was in front of her.
