For clarity, when Ryou's father is a decent guy, I picture him as his anime counterpart. But when he's an asshole he looks like his DSOD design

I can Imagine Bakura dad being the British one since British people have been know to steal ancient artifacts and him owning a museum does fit into British culture perhaps in this au he and his son Bakura traveled all the way to Japan to show ancient artifacts to the general public. Bakura dad does not know why Ishizu distrust him since Egypt and Britain kinda have a bad history
Yeah I kinda figured most people would have dadkura as the British one. I don't know how archeology works exactly, but maybe when Ishizu gets involved, she makes it very clear that she will be deciding what does and doesn't get displayed in the museum. Probably uses her necklace to see what kind of arguments will be used against those decisions and has counterarguments ready to go.

Day 23: Muddy, ft Mr.Bakura and Bakura ryou
Day 22: Expensive, ft Mr.Bakura
Professor, Doctor, Mister, or Papa Bakura definitely smoked a pipe. Disheveled beard, sniping eyes behind a pair of round cheaters, lopsided grin and a pipe perched on his lips.
Mr. Bakura Headcanon (Based on DSOD)
The reason he is a mostly-absent father (assuming he is alive from the flashback up through DSOD) is because he feels immense guilt for being the reason Ryou got the Ring. Free from his desire to possess the Ring himself, he clearly sees how dangerous it is, knows it did something to his son, has suspicions that it is the reason for a lot of unusual/unfortunate things that occur (Ryou’s injuries, the classmates in comas, etc), and feels that he is responsible for all of it as he is the one who led him to the Pharaoh's tomb in the first place.
Me, an anthropologist and museum employee, rewatching DSoD. “Well, Mr. Bakura, if you hadn’t tried to exploit ancient cultures for monitory gain you’d still be alive. Maybe that’s just what you get for artifact profiteering.”
