STRIP THIRTY-FIVE Jane Bennet was right, the fact that Darcy chose to befriend Bingley IS a green flag.
STRIP THIRTY-THREE I have many writing projects, including: what would happen if, let's say, fifty of our favorite literary characters were suddenly thrown into the 21st century? D'Artagnan and Elizabeth Bennet would definitely be among them, and I think they would fall in love, too.
STRIP THIRTY-TWO (I have a British editor, and I'm driving her crazy.)
STRIP 29
(I love Mr Bennet, despite all his flaws.)
STRIP 28
Of course, Mary is wondering the same thing. And Lydia is wondering if Mr Bennet can be her real father...
Second post in my "Toxic families" series!
If I had to vote, I'd say General Tilney and the Tilney family have the highest and most realistic degree of toxicity in Austen.
I feel like I have met the Tilneys. That they could be the (unhappy) family next door. I feel that there are millions of General Tilneys in the world. (Sorry about the arrows, this was initially meant for Instagram.)
STRIP 26
(I must say, I love how Clara draws the Bennet girls)
(Clara is the artist)
(I'm not objective here)
(Clearly)
STRIP 24
Austen plays on so many emotions.
