"Mr. Driver" - Black Lips
The Black Lips are noted for provocative theatrics in their live shows – including vomiting, urniation, nudity, electric R.C. car races, fireworks, a chicken, and flaming guitars. These band of miscreants are a refreshing breath of counterculture rebelliousness a la GG Allin or the Stooges. Blending good ole American rock with psychedelia and garage punk, the Black Lips cant help by exude originality. I got to drink a few beers with these punkers at an ACL aftershow a few weeks ago and their appetite for partying did not dissappoint.
