Kana has been super low on cash lately. At some point he even had only 5G in his pockets and nothing else. He really should start saving, or spending more wisely-- or, just get more jobs. Somehow he ended up going with that route instead of adjusting his expenses. At the Guild’s request board, he started looking for requests that could earn him a bit of cash. What he found instead was an ad for a job, posted by no one else but Georgia. 

Sunset Ranch was pretty close to Barley’s, and he’d go there every now and then to take the produce there. He noticed there was a scarcity in employees, but he didn’t think it was this bad. They had a lot of spare hands at the ranch! 

Right after his shift at the ranch, just before he heads down to the Blue Horseshoe, he passes by Barley’s, not to take some shipment in, but to inform his troubled boss she was going to have a new employee~ if she lets him, that is.

What were the requirements again? Man the register... care for the farm animals... feed the pets-- pssh, nothing he hasn’t done in his life time. Plus, he was a beastmaster too. A pretty terrible one so far, but a beastmaster nonetheless. 

“Georgia, you still there?” He calls out from outside of the shop, aware it should have been near closing time.
