Thinking back to the Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep climax, when Jake completely loses his shit at Mr. Beeston and King Neptune. Seriously he’s violently grabbing them and screaming in their faces. Granted it’s because Jake’s family is in danger.

Seeing how violent Jake can be when protecting his family…IMAGINE what Jake would’ve done if he saw the Rushtons kidnapping his daughter. Facing an angry protective merman father might dampen Mr. Rushton’s mermaid obsession.

Random Question

Out of curiosity,

Have any of you (my followers) watched the show 'Lark Rise to Candleford'?

It is a British period-piece show based on the memoirs/books of a writer named Flora Thompson - it is based on her early-life (note; the characters do not share the irl names of the people it references.)

I watched it years ago with my dad, and am now re-watching on Hulu.

I know I have some followers/readers that enjoy my Jane Austen stuff; and just Jane Austen in general. So I am curious if it happens to be another show anyone that follows me enjoys, or might be interested in my writing for?

This is also a question for people who might happen to see this post in the tags search; I write reader inserts - so if anyone is interested in this let me know

And for those who like Period-Pieces or things like Jane Austen; this is also a recommendation to check out the series. It has 3.5 seasons, and unfortunately was abruptly cancelled in the middle of season 4.

Hmm, something to think about.

My form tutor has been putting up all these random drawings and inspirational thingies in our form and Rose informs me that he gives the "newspaper" as his source. I have never seen a newspaper that contains doodles of "You learn from mistakes. Make more of them" and photos of mountains and birds with believe-in-yourself quotes on them, or drawings of breakfast foods that proudly proclaim "eat breakfast".

If you saw them, you would know what I mean.
