Worried about Wilson :(
Guardian of books 📚
He's just trying to pick up some dough
Petunia Jenkins: What are you doing here?
Mr Wilson: I could ask you the same question.
Petunia: I live here. This is my house.
Mr Wilson: I should probably ask you a different question.
He doesn't even know it's bad bunny sunday
Time for me and Wilson's nightly book time. Farewell fellow bloggers.
Oh Rick Riordan we are really in it now 📕
ok. john cale's mr wilson means so so much to me, and i dont even gaf about the beach boys.
it's much more... the sentiment expressed, which i feel so fucking hard too. (like. my childhood and john cale's childhood are very very similar too, so, ofc.)
take away the specific person, take away the specific name; and what you have is what i feel, what painfully well speaks to me in his life as well as my own.
i believe you. i'll believe you anyway. and i'm always thinking of you, when i hear your music play.
you know it's true: that wales [where i live, far away from anything as good as the music i constantly listen to] is not like california [where You are, all you wonderful musicians i dream of constantly because that is the only thing keeping me alive] in any way, and when i listen to your music you're still thousands of miles away. [i will never reach that glorious place of my aspirations, even when i am closest i have acute knowledge of how disparate our everythings are, how far away it all is for me]
it's just. it's just a lot.
and if i guess i had to dedicate this, exactly this sort of song to anybody, it would be john cale. so. yeah.
