Honestly "the principal tater is Adam and ivy dad" theory is kinda like the "doofenshmirtz is Phineas and Candace dad" theory but I actually like former (hell i even set principal tater as their parent In tomodachi life) so anyway here some reasons why I this theory more

1 Adam and ivy mom being doesn't play a important role the show especially compare pnf where unconventional does play a role in the themes it feel to weird to about the bio parents when fine as a family compare mr young where they probably made Rachel (Adam and ivy mom) a single mom for casting bugets reason not to said it doesn't play in show but usually for a joke and one episode where Rachel and tater would dating speaking of that

2 the show give more hints that one scene that like to use like besides from that episode as soon as episode 6 it established know eachother since high school and a episode in season 3 where show a video tape of them i think before the incident that basically break them up also i think ivy mentioned not knowing her father and then her hair falling out (same with adam) in same episode so you know their that

3 is that it feels personal to me where tater can kinda be sorta father figure obviously he still Adam boss and a authority figure but some can read a sorta dad with his interaction

Anyway here elaborate headcannon

Rachel wanted kid but didn't have a partner and didn't want to go adoption process so she even After the incident she went to tater first asking if he can help her he said yes so they to they to the sperm bank (i can't see them having sex I'm sorry) and lvy was born two year later (because Adam 14 and ivy is roughly 16 given she driving in the first episode) Rachel went to the same sperm bank Luckily they still had some of tater sperms so Adam born. Since tater isn't parent material Rachel decided just to raise them by herself pretty hard with ivy someone but very easy with Adam given he went to college at a young age and after graduation college and moving back home still easy but had to reeling on his science stuff. Both Adam and ivy never really care about knowing their dad, ivy just assumes she or Adam come a stork ( when she older does know where babies come from but believe stork are another option for babies) Adam at a young know his come from a sperm bank and both believe there not actually related to eachother. Tater is like vaguely aware that he Adam and ivy dad but doesn't tell because of other priorities and assume Rachel told them (really did not)

So yeah this my insane rambling about a show that no one really care about

more tomodachi life on the brightside adam and echo are now a couple (even thought i wanted it to be a slowburn but whatever) and slab and derby also confess their love too which i could see happening
