I mean this in the most affectionate and endearing way possible, but
Mike Faist is a reclusive rat man.
He spends much of him time with close friends and family. He has stayed away from all social media platforms. He's amazing. Imagine being able to not subject yourself to the crazy world of social media - which can be a super addicting void of 10,000 different emotions all piled up, ready to consume your brain and sway your mind one way and then the other in a matter of milliseconds. It's incredible, and I have so much respect for Mr. Faist.
Now, I won't get into past details because that's just rude and very unhealthy for Mr. Faist and everyone else to read over. After his time at DEH, Mr. Faist seemed to drop off the radar and just vibe wherever he was. (Honestly, life goal right there.) He resurfaced earlier this year (at least, I remember it being this year) with the announcement of the West Side Story remake. Finally! A movie everyone can actually enjoy that included Mr. Faist! A few months past and it is jokingly brought up that Broadway Jackbox should invite Mr. Faist to their show. Somehow through the magic worthy of Disney, he was brought on. Even though Mr. Faist was only there for 40 minutes because his iPad was not charging (it was at 1% when he joined the stream somehow), we still had the honour to see Mr. Faist and let him know how much we support and admire him.
Sorry this turned into a little bit of a ramble, but I just need a little more positivity, and it makes me happy when other people are happy and healthy.
Post script: If I could have the honour of meeting Mr. Faist in person, I would make sure he got a hug and knew he was admired and loved before I would start sobbing.
