Can you reveal more about ken and Geiger's relationship?

(sorry for the delay in answering this, i wasn't really up for writing a bunch of stuff til just now)

out of everyone on the team, geiger has always gotten along best with ken. when the twins first apprehended him, ken was the more lenient and sympathetic of the two, and over time geiger found that he’d genuinely started to enjoy ken's company.

naturally, this put a bit of a damper on his initial plan of “bust outta this place and kill everyone in my path”. then the rest of the team comes around and he’s like “fuck ok i guess i'm just gonna live like this huh :/”

likewise, ken has found geiger exceptionally intriguing since they first met. radioactive mutant man with a law degree? sign him the fuck up! as soon as the guy was under the mizushimas’ care, ken was compelled to know more about him, and that naturally led to them getting to know each other.

as for interactions: boy, can the two of them talk. i've said before that talking is one of geiger’s favorite things to do, but ken is nearly as bad (’nearly’ as in they don’t have a habit of talking to himself or reading books aloud to no one). they can spend hours chatting about anything and everything, often while ken is simultaneously working on something in the lab (adhd multitasking to the extreme). and god help everyone else in the building once they start debating; that shit can get loud and occasionally destructive.

(they’ve never hurt each other over an argument, but ken has access to a lot of heavy-duty tech and will do anything to prove a point.)

like i’ve alluded to in previous posts: geiger is lowkey ken's sugar baby. it began as ken just offering to buy him some stuff to make his stay in the bunker more bearable (which geiger took full advantage of at the time), but once they started to actually become close ken would start buying him things without being asked, just to see him light up at receiving a new book or a nice watch.

eventually, they were even finding excuses to get geiger out of the facility to take him to restaurants and galleries and such. it’s not ideal, with geiger looking the way that he does, but he still really appreciates it.

i love the two of them together, but as of now they’re not actually a couple. ken has a thing for geiger, and has acknowledged it to themself, but is content to leave things as they are. geiger has a long way to go before he can admit to himself that he’s still capable of feeling genuine affection, much less acting on it.

Could geiger produce a radiation blast in the 2-3 million sievert range

look dude i tried to look up stuff to figure out how much radiation that is but there were conversion tables and shit and i didn't wanna google more than two things. i'll just say that when he first got his powers, he created a blast equivalent to an atom bomb, but that was when he was in the middle of a nuclear weaponry research facility and riding high on the fresh fumes of his transformation. also, it put him into a fuckin coma for forty years.

at present day his powers are much tamer, even when unhindered by his power dampening device, but he is still capable of blasting the flesh off one's bones and inflicting radiation sickness/death onto anyone standing too close to him. when dampened, he's relatively safe to be around, though you might still get a bit dizzy if you're in the same room as him for too long.

what does Geiger's livin situation look like? like is he aloud to live unattended or do the twins have him in some max security building somewhere? (sorry this is kind of off topic for your current posts. your a big art inspo man keep on being kickass!)

he lives at the calamity watch hq, on one of the basement levels in an apartment built specifically to house him. it has all the fittings of a typical home, modified to withstand the additional wear and tear that comes with housing a human power plant. the apartment itself has reinforced walls and security protocols that can contain geiger at a moment’s notice, locking down completely if sensors detect that his energy output has passed a certain threshold.
