A God of Hyperdeath introspection for my weird and spicy fanfic, Monster in the Mountain, if you haven't reached chapter 23 and don't want to be spoiled, don't read further!
Asriel finds himself with the power of a god again and spends so many timelines doing literally whatever the hell he wants.
There are more outfits and forms that he takes on, but these in particular, are the ones that he stuck with the longest.
Starting on the left...
🖤First form, once Asriel got his powers back, he went with what he knew best, he was nostalgic for it in a way, after erasing everyone's memories of the monsters and making sure Frisk was safe, he was excited to do whatever he wanted and so very happy to have a body again and keep it for as long as he pleased.

🖤Second form, after doing whatever he pleased, he quickly realized that there were humans that were possibly much worse than he could have ever conceived, and it made him disenchanted with humanity and he started to do things to help the better side of humanity but knew would make the worse side furious with him, a rebellion... it didn't end well for him.
Still, he kept at it, fighting against the worse side of humanity for a few timelines.
However, around this period is when he discovers that he has feelings for Frisk, he also discovers that he's not asexual, it baffles him and he really doesn't know what to do about it, so he ignores these feelings for a very long time, repressing that part of himself.

🖤Third form, after getting tired of being killed and destroyed repeatedly, Asriel decides to retreat into hiding for a while, he then looks to the monster souls for advice, and surprisingly decides to listen to Alphys and Mettaton, and for an entire decade, all he did was watch anime and explore his more creative side, and even his feminine side, and what resulted was an alter ego anime villain rockstar, literally hypnotizing humans with the power of his voice, making everyone love him, and at the ultimate height of his popularity, he threw an enormous concert, singing humanity to death as he summoned down a huge meteor to wipe them all out.
Because he wasn't able to convince Frisk to come with him to be safe, it didn't end the way he wanted.

🖤Fourth form, Asriel's most beautiful and perfect form is pure deception because, in this timeline... he does the most damage, taking things a step further and becoming King God of Earth after forcibly solving world hunger and homelessness/poverty, but of course, humanity refused to fall into his power easily, causing several giant wars against him, but he was able to fight back with an army of brainwashed humans (and humans who genuinely loved what he was doing, they didn't need to be brainwashed)
He soon realized he badly screwed up when he one day received Frisk as a human sacrifce.
SO HE RESET AND TRIED IT AGAIN! But made sure Frisk was safe, but the only way he could make sure that they stayed perfectly safe was to add them to the brainwashed army, and this also, unfortunately, included them to be forced to learn how to use a gun and use it against other people-(revealing their hidden talent for always hitting the mark)- years later when Frisk is settled down, married and 39, he hires them as his 'personal assistant' (but basically a secretary) moving them to his big castle on top of Mt.Ebott.
Asriel doesn't really get to 'bond' with them like he would like mainly due to Frisk being brainwashed and believing he could do no wrong, Asriel is also silently jealous because of Frisk's happy marriage, still, it's...nice for a short time, up until another war was waged against him, beginning with Frisk getting assassinated during their break time, it kind of broke him for a while.

🖤Fifth form, after screwing up so bad, Asriel decided to go back into hiding, full of guilt and self-hatred for his past decisions as King God, he felt more comfortable being in any form but his real one, traveling the world as any animal (anything except human) he wanted...
He did this for a long time over many timelines, even visiting Frisk a few times to steer them out of the way of dangerous/traumatic situations...
I chose to show his cat form here as a representation because it was one of his favorites to inhabit, it was also the one Frisk seemed to like the most.

🖤Sixth/seventh form, still staying out of the way, feeling lonelier and more depressed than ever before- but still full of self-hatred, he creates his darkest but laziest robe to date, but nostalgic for the one he had in his second form, having barely any interest in keeping his looks up since no one is watching.
And no one is looking because he only stays inside the mountain, only leaving to go on extended trips to outer space (sixth form) where he would dissociate and hurt himself, literally ripping himself apart, and when he was sick of space he would go back to the mountain, and when he was sick of the mountain, he'd go back to space, it was a vicious cycle, depression can do that.
The longest time he spent in space was three years.
Then finally, he got sick and miserable of being alone and hatched the idea to keep Frisk long-term, he wasn't sure it was going to work, he just knew he really missed them and was dealing with intense feelings he didn't know how to handle.
After bonding and getting closer, Asriel heals and starts to wear normal clothes and pants!
