Leonard Memorial Day
One year ago, on the 16th of November 2015, we suffered a loss. While the gentleman in question may have brought two young killers closer together, we as a people suffered tremendously.
He was taken from us. Taken from us before we truly knew his intricacies. What colour was his hair under there? Was he left or right handed? What was his favourite food? Did he have pets? Children? Did he play the bassoon?
My friends, we will never know. So I’d like to invite you all to join me in celebrating this man’s microscopically short life, via the medium of tonight’s queue.
And so, without further ado, I’d like to begin the first official Leonard Memorial Day.
I would also like to invite you all to peruse this iconic figure’s Leonard related fuckery tag at your leisure - it’s fun for all the family.

My brother and I go to a Wind Ensemble concert at LHS. We go backstage to the band room where the band is rehearsing and I ask Mr. Leonard if I could play in the concert. Despite the joking nature of my inquiry, I really do want to play. I suggest that I can play the baritone or tenor saxophone part. Mr. Leonard says that I can play. Evan Marcantonio, who is actually Evan Tarrh in everything except for name, says I can't play because the baritone part is the same as the tenor part and he is playing the tenor part and it's much too hard. I reluctantly agree because it's true that even when I sight read Wind Ensemble pieces in my prime I couldn't do it correctly. But I get out my tenor anyways. Martin is playing in the Wind Ensemble as a trumpeter. I realize I don't know which tenor saxophone is mine. Mr. Leonard says there is a part I can play, since one of the baritone players is missing. Evan glowers disapprovingly. Mr. Leonard and I look at the tenor that I'm holding and the middle part is a 2.5 part which is a different model from the other two parts, the neck and the body with the horn.
