The Unit

Ok seriously I tried to educate myself about The Unit but I have been sadly unsuccessful about all the details, there seems to be so much mystery surrounding the topic.

I partially think it’s quite embarrassing for some idols, especially if they don’t even get screentime or any attention, unlike they did before, but at the same time I’m so happy to see this happening. It is going to be super interesting and worth watching, no matter the result. And it does reveal an interesting viewpoint to Korean show/entertainment industry, as usual. Not only because it reminds everyone so much of Production 101 but also because these celebrities are already experts on entertainment business and still do get to compete against each other in a very concrete manner. Hm tells me so much about kpop music industry tbh.

Besides, I’m so happy to see members of Cross Gene, Madtown, Myname, 100%, A.C.E, Topp Dogg, Bigstar, Boyfriend, Imfact, Hotshot, Brave Girls, Laboum, Boys Republic and MR. MR returning to the stage and actually doing something instead of just waiting for comebacks that might not ever happen again. These are the guys y’all are sleeping on for real, not those top ten music chart artists you all drool over. If you continue to sleep on them after this, well, that’s your loss. I’m glad they were given another chance, no matter how slim it is.
