In a nutshell I would describe chapter 11 as: horny and tragic.

Leisurely, Jace moved to stand, holding tight to Simon’s wrist all the while. At his full height, their faces were inches apart and their eyes nearly level. Simon could feel the warmth of Jace’s breath against his skin. The rapid-fire pumping of Jace’s heart pummeled his eardrums from all directions.
“It’s funny,” Jace said, licking his lips. “You know I’m dangerous, but you’re not afraid of me.”
Simon nodded slowly, not breaking eye contact. Not wanting to admit that he was afraid.

Summary:
The plan was simple, really. Interdimensional travel to Thule. Find Simon Lewis. Summon Janus back to the correct realm where he belongs. Convince Kit Herondale to break a three-year estrangement and help with executing this scheme.
But as Ty Blackthorn should well know, plans are rarely as simple as they seem.
“One… two…”
The air before them began to shimmer. There was a bright, iridescent rippling, then Angels Flight materialized in the distance, framed by dilapidated buildings and a copper-toned sky.
Ty grabbed Kit’s hand. Kit was too surprised to react. He simply followed Ty through the portal into the unknown.
This fic is: canon divergent KitTy with a Jimon B-plot starting around the halfway point. The story begins in a similar place as Last King of Faerie, but instead of traveling around Europe, Kit and Ty travel to Thule. And a lot has changed there since Julian and Emma left three years ago.
